How Do I Know Justin?
Justin and I were on the same Canadian Marketing team for about 1–2 years before moving onto different teams. We collaborated across several initiatives, and beyond work, quickly realized we saw eye to eye on a few PRIORITY areas:
being Korean (I did not even know this man was Korean until we connected the dots)…
loving food #f00dies
being a enthusiast of being pet owners (Justin is a cat person, I am all the way team DOG - no shade)
a shared interest on analytics and digital as our professional sweet spots (talk about NERDS lmfao)
Before transitioning teams, Justin gifted us copies of The Alchemist. I had never actually read it before (despite hearing all the glowering reviews on it from friends and aquaintances alike - it’s a #classic, I know). And honestly, this gesture said everything that I need to know about his character in my eyes.
Justin a humble and exceptionally grounded person who will never admit he’s a genuine whiz with numbers, critical thinking, and analytics—so I’ll say it for him. Huge shoutout to him for grinding through his MBA while working full-time and still making time for friends. You crazy man. But real eyes realize or whatever.

Justin gave me a ton of insight into balancing continued education with full-time work. Legend has it he may have even sparked the push I needed to finally chase after the (continued) education I’ve always wanted…
